MYP project- .9.

GAIS. im so freaking indecisive. OTLLLL.
So at first i was gonna make my manga all like, traditional crap with toning blablalba. but then im like, eh, thats not really.... "me". ((lol holy shit so cheezy xD)). Toning took for ever and looked like a piece of crap. so im thinking, maybe instead of worrying TOO much on quantity but work super hard on quality, I could have not as many pages (..maybe lol) but they could be... Either digital or done in colour or something.
At first I was thinking about doing it all on manga studio. It has the toning, virtual g-pen and other inking pens, and seems simple to use. But im not used to it and i dont really like the way the digital G-pen works, it doesnt respond to my pen pressure very well, so i kinda dumped that Idea.
Then i went to inking and what not traditionally, then add tones and stuff on the computer. Manga studio for some reason wouldnt accept a file that was created in manga studio, so i took it to photoshop and downloaded some tones and did it that way, cuz i know how to use ps rly well. ;LKFJA;SLDKFJ i never wanna tone like that ever again OTL. it looked bad and just it was a super amount of fail. and the file was too big and wouldnt post on SJ. orz.
So then i started thinking, what if i did it entirely traditionally? Would the manga paper hold watercolour? prolly not. so i kinda scratched that, but not entirely. I think that watercolour is my strongest point (idunnolol) in art, so i should incooperate that somehow, right? (omg lol ignore my crap-tastic spelling SO AFTER THATTTTT I though wth ill just sketch it on paper and then ink and do SIMPLE TONING (working in grayscale) on photoshop. no fancy tones, but different solid variations. like colouring with out colour.
OR. I could just colour all the pages. I like having finished coloured things in my gallery on DA, so why not just make all my pages full colour or some crap? ((or do like Beyond Temptation on SJ and make it Grayscale but only use 1 colour.... like purple or something.))

fffffffff i have no idea. I have 100 sheets of manga paper, because I had a feeling this would happen >>;;; so if im planning to do about 60 pages, then i guess I only have about 35 pages left. (because the others were used for experimentation :< )
I guess what ill end up doing is that ill plan almost everything in the next month or so (until school ends) and then when summer hits, BAM ill work like a crazy ninja and get this shit done TO PROVE MAGA WRONGGGGGG 8A8888;;;;;; holy shit lmao.

GUYS IM SO SORRY I HAVENT TALKED ABOUT REAL ANIME IN THE LAST LIKE 10 POSTS. These ((stupid xD; )) journal entries will hopefully dissipate over the summer, and be done by december >>;; SRYYYYYY.

FIRST PAGE FRIGGIN DONE ;dlkasjdf;kla. well, done as in inking and drawing. i went to go add the tones and clean it in manga studio but i cant figure out how to let it open if i scanned it or w/e blablabla. so i opened it in photoshop and downloaded some screen tones and just did them there x_____x it wasnt so bad UNTIL I DID THE STUFF ON THE WRONG LAYER ASDLFKJADFKL. i was like, noh!!! /done. lol.
but otherwise, each FULL page (from drafting, sketch, ink, scan, clean, and tone) takes about a day (omg im so friggin slow OTL). Which means i can now see how many pages (realistically) i can complete before the fare.
Before school ends: Ill be lucky to have 5 fully completed pages. lol. end of story. only a month left before final exams and school is over. Also gotta finish that scythe... ((AHEM MR. GBATT D8)) and get the fabric and stuff for the costume and make it OTL.
After school ends, I have all of June and the beginning part of july to work on my manga and costume. I was thinking, this could be like my schedule:
draft/sketch, sew, ink, sew, scan and clean, sew, tone, sew, ANIME. lmao. cuz anime HAS to be fit in my daily schedule for summer XD.
If i did this for all of june and the beginning part of july, and i made a page a day, i could already have 30 pages or so done. <3 AND WILL BE WAY MORE THAN THE 25-30 HOURS RECOMMENED FOR THIS PROJECT BUT I DONT CARE /diggingowngravekthnx.
And then i can sketch and ink a BUNCH of pages in july, and scan and tone them in august, I should have about another 30 pages of august and the last part of july.
Because ill be in colorado for all of august (cept for OTAKONNNN <3) i wont have a scanner and what not, so ill have to make lots of pages in advance and scan them in advance x_x;;
BUT I CAN DO IT D88888.

Okay, so as im almost done with the cover and moving on to inking the pages, i decide i dont like the cover x_x.
I think im gonna stick to doing the covers in photoshop, because i know how to use it better, and i like the textures i can get, as well as all the other things i can do with it. Its not that i dont really know how to use manga studio, its just that i dont know it as well, and im not used to it :/. Also because of that, I decided that im going to draw and ink my pages by hand, and then scan them into the computer for cleaning and toning, and to insert diolauge. (cant spell lol leave me alone D8) oh that reminds me i have to finish my final proposal for the PP and stuff X-X. oh and mr. gbat is my sponsor YAYLOL. although i kind of figured i would get him :D;;; lolol.

uhh ive also been trying to find all of the things ive done that included people from fortunes ;A; i found my old sketchbook and wanted to die LMAO. OTL;;;
ummm yeah im hopefully going to get a portfolio type thing the weekend of the play for all of the papers and stuff.
and maybe some more gray colour copics and a copic holder BECAUSE I FINALLY HAVE LIKE... i dunno 10 or something LOL i feel accomplished ;A;;;
but yeahhh i still dont really know how im gonna make the center of this story work, or how long each chapter will be, im thinking 20 pages per chapter about? thats what ive seen most other manga peoples do. (but then yaoi is like 40 pages each chapter LMAOOOO) ;;;

so then XX goes off saying that im copying them for the PP and carries on to tell me that i dont have enough determination to finish it, or even go along with it.

•KATSUCON•
Ohhh what a fun con. Not the best katsucon I've been to, but still pretty good.

Ill start with the bad and continue to the good, just cuz good outweighs the bad ;)
- The Gaylord hotel and resort is WAY TOO BIG for a convention the size of katsucon. It was easy to get lost, and it just generally made the con feel smaller than it really was.
- The AMV contest and the Mascarade were not the best ones i've seen. It's not that they weren't funny or anything, they just weren't interesting :P
- I ran out of money by Saturday afternoon. (But dont i always LOL).

-I bought EVERYTHING ON MY LIST. Now THAT is an accomplishment. I can't find my camera uploader thing right now, but when i do I'll post the pictures of everything I got. (But if you were wondering, I bought a Gurren Lagann Flag, a BIG cloth lucky star poster, a few prints, Junjou Romantica (Usami), Gurren Lagann (Viral), and Black Butler (rabbit sebastian) PHONE CHARMS, a hat, cat ears, a cyber goth mask (black with a butterfly), 2 AMAZING SHIRTS (I can see alaska from my house and team alucard, the list goes on xD)
-I SAW GIRLYCARD COSPLAYS. I WAS LIKE HOLY COW THATS AWESOME. (he/she is my current fandom <3 )
-I ACTUALLY went to some panels and paid attention. Learned good webcomic and just general art tips and tricks. But I didnt go to as many panels as i had wanted to.

Ahh so much more. I also saw tons of other rly good cosplays, including 1 or 2 Undertakers xD. I focused much on their outfit and what they did, etc >w>

We haven't had school since the 5th of Febuary.. we're supposed to have a 2 hour delay tomorrow, since the snow and ceased and was finally being cleaned up, but as i just looked out my window, it is snowing FEROCIOUSLY. LMAO. Watch us have no school tomorrow either. That would be fantastic actually, BECAUSE I HAVENT DONE ANY OF MY HOMEWORK. /procrastonationnnnnnfaillll. Ahaha so much to catch up on ;A; Because the teachers have been posting homework on the internet. Don't you just love it when they do that? >:P

I'm currently not going to have any new or fantastic cosplays for Katsucon or Anime Boston this year, but by the time Otakon comes round, I shall hopefully have a WONDERFUL UNDERTAKER cosplay from Kuroshitsuji (or Black Butler ;) )

The long awaited, anticipated 2nd season of K-ON! will be airing in April~! The actual release date has not yet been determined, at least not to my knowlege. If you know, do tell <3 (>w0)

Manga Releases:
Yotsuba! #8 will be released in the US by Yen Press (and i believe maybe Adv) on Saturday April 10th.
Hellsing #10 will be released in the US by Dark Horse Manga on Saturday March 15th.

I'm not totally when or how many episodes there will be, but I'm almost positive its gonna be AMAZING <3. I love sebas-chan :D The first season, which was completed in like, march of '09 or something was 24 episodes, and i think same with the upcoming season. ;alksdjfa;lkd**EXCITEMENT**
